1. Who we are
TurcoBear is a men’s lifestyle brand based in Türkiye. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, TurcoBear is responsible for the personal information it collects and uses through its own channels.
2. Information we collect
This website does not currently offer customer accounts, on-site checkout, a contact form or an email sign-up form. We may nevertheless process:
- technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, browser and device information, request time and basic server logs;
- information you choose to send to us through Instagram or another direct communication channel;
- order and customer information made available to us as an Etsy seller when you purchase from our Etsy shop; and
- contact details and subscription preferences you previously provided to TurcoBear through Wix or another TurcoBear channel.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to provide customer support, answer product and sizing questions, fulfil and support Etsy orders, maintain website security, comply with legal and accounting obligations, and send marketing only where permitted. We also keep opt-out records where necessary to ensure that unsubscribe requests remain respected.
4. Legal grounds
Depending on the context and your location, we process information because it is necessary to perform a contract, because we have a legitimate interest in operating and protecting TurcoBear, because you have given consent, or because the law requires us to do so. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
5. Service providers and third parties
The website is hosted using OpenAI Sites. Hosting providers may process technical data required to deliver, maintain and secure the service. Product purchases are completed on Etsy, which processes checkout, payment, account and transaction information under its own policies. Instagram processes information when you visit or contact us through its platform.
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or other advertising trackers on this website.
6. International transfers
Our service providers and sales platforms may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, transfers are handled using legally recognised safeguards or another valid transfer mechanism.
7. Retention
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide support, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or meet legal obligations. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe or the list is no longer used; limited suppression information may be retained to honour your opt-out.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No internet service is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

We may update this policy when our website, services or legal obligations change. The date above shows the latest revision.
